HIGHCLERE WEEKLY NEWS

16/6/23
It has been a quiet week for Highclere Australia with no runners, but that is all going to change with Naval College and Bartholomeu Dias lining up at Rosehill on Saturday and Korolev lining up at Ballarat on Tuesday. Olympic Theatre will also trial on Monday before he heads back to the races.
Naval College has been terrific in all his Australian starts and the race on Saturday looks like another suitable option for him. He continues to please the stable so hopefully, we can see another good performance from him. Bartholomeu Dias has been a little disappointing in his last few starts but he will wear blinkers on Saturday which will hopefully help him regain his better form.
Korolev was great again last start when getting out late and running home well to gain second. He has drawn a little tricky but with Linda on again, hopefully, she can give him another terrific ride and with the right luck he can feature in the finish.
In other good news, Durston continues to please in his rehabilitation, which is fantastic. As we have said all along, these injuries take time, which is what he will be given but everything is looking good so hopefully, the patience will be rewarded when he does return.
Highland Cathedral is also looking well and enjoying some time at the beach for a change of scenery but she is only a few weeks off a trial so it will be great to have her back at the track. While Great House is currently spelling so not a lot to report on him at this stage.
That is all for this week's Weekly News but make sure you check back next week for another edition and in the meantime check out the socials to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
