HIGHCLERE RACING'S WEEKLY NEWS

17/8/22
We are back for another edition of the Highclere Weekly News!
This week the focus was on the 3yo’s with Armageddon and Korolev both having a little jumpout. Both horses are returning as geldings this preparation and were very pleasing when stretching their legs for the first time. They will now progress to the trials and it won’t be long before we see them at the races.
If you follow us on socials you would have seen Hint of Stars getting the km’s into the legs while exercising on the treadmill. After getting so close to seeing him race before injury put that on hold it is great to see him back in work and working towards that Australian racing debut.
After a pleasing first Australian preparation earlier this year, Olympic Theatre is also building the fitness, his trial was very good, considering he is not suited to those sprint distances. Bartholomeu Dias is enjoying a little freshen at the beach before he heads back up to Queensland to resume the campaign.
Durston, who is a dual accepted for Hawkesbury tomorrow and also Randwick on Saturday. He is second up after a long break and was pleasing first up among some very impressive opponents. These options are not any weaker but hopefully, with some fitness under his belt, he can run a pleasing race as we head towards racing over a longer journey as we progress through the preparation.
Another fan favourite also in Chris Waller stable, Great House is also improving his fitness. He is coming along well and we can’t wait to see him back in action, not long to wait now.
That’s all the news this week but make sure you are following us on socials to keep up to date with all the Highclere news throughout the week.
