HIGHCLERE WEEKLY NEWS

20/5/23
It has been a quiet week with only one runner. Olympic Theatre lined up at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, as he is still getting fit we just wanted to see him run on in the straight and that's what he did so it was definitely a pass mark and we look forward to seeing him over a more suitable distance in the coming weeks.
Korolev has come through his run in good order and looks like he will be running early next week, he didn’t get a crack at them last start so hopefully he can get a little more luck on his side.
Hint Of Stars was due to run this weekend but with neither option looking suitable the Matt Cumani Stable have elected to wait and run at Cranbourne next Friday night. This will be the start of a busy couple of days for Highclere Racing Australia with Naval College lining up at Randwick while Great House and Bartholomeu Dias will run at Eagle Farm.
Durston is coming along very well in his rehabilitation with another great scan. It is still a long journey but we are so excited he is doing well and with how quickly the year is passing, it will fly by. On that note, we wish Michael Dee all the best as he sets off for a riding stint in Hong Kong. He is a terrific rider as we saw not only with his Caulfield Cup winning ride on Durston but the many other wins that followed.
That’s it this week but with so many runners coming up, make sure you follow us on our socials to keep up to date with all the latest news.
