HIGHCLERE RACING'S WEEKLY NEWS

20/9/22
We keep saying it but it has yet again been another exciting week for Highclere Racing Australia. The winners just keep flowing, this time it was Durston taking out the Newcastle Handicap, a race won by stable mate Great House last year before going on to run in the Melbourne Cup, a path that looks possible for Durston.
It was another great ride by James McDonald and both he and Chris Waller were full of praise after the win. He has now won his way into the Metropolitan on his way to The Melbourne Cup. Such an exciting time for his connections.
Great House has come through his 3rd placing in great order and could head to Moonee Valley Friday night or wait for the Turnbull the week later. He had a look around the valley yesterday so keep an eye out for this on our socials.
Olympic Theatre has come through his unlucky run well and has his sights firmly on the Bathurst Cup on Sunday while Bartholomeu Dias lines up in the Toowoomba Cup on Saturday.
It is great to see so many of our horses competing in these types of races, it certainly shows that if you're not racing with Highclere you should email info@highclereracing.com.au and get involved today! There are even still a few shares left in Olympic Theatre who looks to be in for a very good preparation but the words out now so get in quick.
It won’t be long until we see Korolev back at the races and running over a slightly longer journey and Highland Cathedral is also back in pre-training and we look forward to her running later this year. Both horses are going well and at very affordable prices so now is the perfect time to get involved in these 3YO’s.
