This week we saw Hint of Stars return to the racetrack. It was a pleasing run and he would’ve derived good fitness from the run. He is now on a quick backup to run at Sandown on Easter Monday over 3000m. This step up in distance should suit so he will be great to see what he can do over the longer trip. Monday also sees Great House line up at Warwick Farm he only steps up 100m to run over 1600m but it looks a nice stepping stone to longer distance later this preparation.
Naval College has been working well since his trial, he will have another next Friday and then it looks he will be off to the races for his Australian debut.
Olympic Theatre and Korolev are also coming along well and it also won’t be long before we see both of them at the races, so some busy times ahead for Highclere Racing Australia.
Bartholomeu Dias is coming along slowly while Highland Cathedral and Armageddon are enjoying their time out, but it won’t be long before they are back in work.
That’s about all the news from the Highclere camp this week but with all these horses coming up, there will certainly be more to talk about in the coming month.
