HIGHCLERE RACING’S WEEKLY NEWS

8/2/23
Things are heating up for Highclere Racing Australia, we kick off a busy weekend with Highland Cathedral at Canterbury, she was only narrowly beaten last start so hopefully, she can go one better here. Saturday is the return of Caulfield Cup winner, Durston who lines up in the Apollo Stakes at Royal Randwick, naturally, it will be too short but it is a great kick-off point, while down in Melbourne we have Hint of Stars lining up at Sandown. He was disappointing last start but we are hoping the step up to 2400m will be more his style and a big track like Sandown should suit. It’s not over there, on Sunday Armageddon will line up at Norwa, he was good on debut but very green so hopefully, the experience gained from that run will assist on Sunday.
That certainly is a jam-packed weekend and a very exciting one for Highclere Racing. A quick note on our other horses, Great House is building fitness and coming along well so we look forward to him getting back to the track later in March.
Bartholomeu Dias is also getting fit and after such a terrific preparation culminating in a win on Melbourne Cup day, we are very excited about what the old boy has in store this time. Olympic Theatre and Korolev are also in the same boat, we haven’t really got to see the best of either horse yet but hopefully with a few changes that will turn around this time.
A little public service announcement to leave you with, if you are wanting to own a racehorse and run as soon as Friday, email info@highclereracing.com.au as we believe there are still a few shares available in Highland Cathedral, but be quick they won’t last long.
Happy racing and make sure you stay up to date on our socials for all the news from Highclere Racing Australia.
